How to use Sora 2 (on iPhone, Android, and web)

You can use OpenAI's Sora 2 inside VIBE on iPhone, Android, or the web. There's no separate OpenAI account required. Here's the step-by-step.

What you need

  • VIBE app or web
  • A prompt

Steps

  1. Get VIBE

Download VIBE on iPhone or Android, or visit createvideoai.com on web. VIBE is free to download and includes Sora 2 access in the starter tier.

  2. Open the model picker

Inside VIBE, tap Create, then tap the model picker. Scroll to Sora 2 (or Sora 2 Pro for the higher-fidelity version).

  3. Write a Sora-friendly prompt

Sora 2 rewards cinematic language. Lead with the camera move, then the subject. Example: 'Slow dolly-in shot, low angle, golden hour. A weathered detective lights a cigarette on a New Orleans porch. The camera holds.'

  4. Tap Generate

Sora 2 takes 60–180 seconds. Sora 2 Pro takes longer. Wait for the notification.

  5. Iterate or save

If the first generation isn't quite right, refine the prompt and re-run. Sora 2 listens to camera grammar — small changes in shot language make big differences.
