Seed (AI generation)

A seed is a number that controls the random starting point of a generation. With the same seed and the same prompt, most AI video models will produce the same output. Changing the seed produces a different generation from the same prompt — a useful way to explore variations. Most AI video apps, including VIBE, abstract the seed away by default, but allow you to lock or change it for reproducibility.
